Dear gas balloonists, dear club

for the 24th time the Bitterfelder Verein für Luftfahrt e.V. is organizing the International Bitterfeld Week for gas balloons.

The goal of the Bitterfeld Week is to promote the sport of gas ballooning by providing the opportunity to conduct gas balloon launches from Bitterfeld. The balloon week takes place after the [[wettbewerbe:2022_lindecup|27th International Linde Cup for Gas Balloons 2022]].

We cordially invite you to this event and are looking forward to your participation.

Below is some information about the planned schedule:

During the entire period of the Bitterfeld Week, gas balloon launches from the Bitterfeld gas balloon launch site are possible for an unlimited period of time. The Bitterfelder Verein für Luftfahrt e.V. organizes the gas supply, ballast sand and launch site support as well as rigging assistance if needed.

The flight planning and organization is the responsibility of the participating pilot.

==== Conditions ====


  * permitted balloons: up to max. 1050m³ - all types - approved for hydrogen.
  * Entry fee: 175,- € (to be paid before the start) per start. The launch fee includes all costs for ballast sand and gas.
  * Rigging crew: the pilot takes care of the rigging of his balloon himself.
  * Ballast bags: you have to bring a sufficient number of ballast bags (15 kg / 10 m³ H² )

=== Registration ===

We have not set a registration deadline for the week to allow for spontaneous decisions depending on weather conditions. You will make our planning easier if you let us know your intentions early.

==== Bitterfeld chain ====

For single starts from Bitterfeld, there is the possibility to get a medal of the [[bitterfelder_kette:start|]] as an award, if you reach the distance requirements.

===== Einladung deutsch =====

Liebe Gasballöner, lieber Club,

zum 16. Mal führt der Bitterfelder Verein für Luftfahrt e.V. die internationale Bitterfelder Woche für Gasballone durch. Die Ballonwoche findet im Anschluss an den [[wettbewerbe:2022_lindecup|]] statt.

Ziel der Bitterfelder Woche ist die Förderung des Gasballonsports durch die Möglichkeit der Durchführung von Gasballonstarts von Bitterfeld aus.

Hierzu laden wir sehr herzlich ein und freuen uns über Ihre Teilnahme.

Nachfolgend einige Informationen zum geplanten Ablauf:
  
Im gesamten Zeitraum der Bitterfelder Woche sind zeitlich unbefristet Gasballonstarts vom Bitterfelder Gasballonstartplatz aus möglich. Der Bitterfelder Verein für Luftfahrt organisiert dazu die Gasversorgung, Ballastsand und die Startplatzbetreuung sowie bei Bedarf Aufrüsthilfe.

Die Fahrtenplanung und Organisation obliegt dem teilnehmenden Piloten.

==== Konditionen ====


  * zugelassene Ballone:	bis max. 1050m³   - alle Bauarten – Wasserstoff zugelassen
  * Startgeld:	175,- €   (zu zahlen vor dem Start) je Start. Im Startgeld sind alle Kosten für  Ballastsand und Gas enthalten.
  * Aufrüstmannschaft: der Pilot sorgt selbst für das Aufrüsten seines Ballons
  * Ballastsäcke: sind in ausreichender Zahl mitzubringen (15 kg / 10 m³ H² )
  
=== Anmeldung ===

Wir haben für die Woche keinen Anmeldeschluss festgelegt, um auch spontane Entscheidungen je nach Wetterlagen zu ermöglichen. Ihr erleichtert uns die Planung, wenn ihr eure Absichten frühzeitig mitteilt.

==== Bitterfelder Kette ====	
				
Bei Einzelstarts von Bitterfeld, besteht die Möglichkeit bei Erreichen der Weitfahrtvorgaben, eine Medaille der „Bitterfelder Kette“ als Auszeichnung zu erhalten.

==== Alternativprogramm ====
